Kara Cheung is a highly-qualified professional logistician, specializing in Asia-Pacific trade. She began her career in logistics after completing her undergraduate studies and has since attained a range of professional qualifications, including a post-graduate course in Logistics Management from the esteemed University of Sydney in 2008.
Throughout her career in the industry, Kara has demonstrated a strong passion for her work, confidence in tackling challenges, and a keen willingness to continually progress. Her broad skill set, combined with her fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, enables her to effectively bridge the gap between foreign brands and retailers from different regions worldwide, facilitating entry into the Asia and Pacific market. Her knowledge is thorough and spans intricate areas such as logistics operations, supply chain management, and Omni-Channel solutions.
After a decade of professional development in Australia, Kara rose to a new challenge and relocated to Shanghai with a multinational logistics company in 2009. During her time in China, she established a strong network of industry connections, comprising of leading eCommerce platforms, service providers, and government officials. Her innovative approach, hardworking nature, and proactive attitude have earned her an outstanding reputation as an expert in all aspects of procurement, solution, implementation, operation, and project management.
